He also took several senior positions in tax and economic counselling, e.g. at law firm Clifford Chance or Arthur Andersen. In addition, he headed the Financial Products division and was a tax expert at Raiffeisen Capital; he was involved in legal counselling related to mergers and acquisitions and was a tax director at ABB in the Czech Republic where he was engaged in major decision-making processes in respect of acquisitions and international tax issues. Ing. Bc. Kateřina Schrollová
Kateřina is involved in close cooperation with law firm rutland ježek, in particular in relation to the individual needs of its clients in respect of Czech tax and accounting law. As an independent tax advisor, Kateřina specialises in individual taxation issues, social security and health insurance, as well as in accounting issues. Kateřina previously worked for Czech and foreign clients in various branches and she thus has wide experience not only in Czech tax issues, but also in international taxation in respect of parallel interaction of two or more tax jurisdictions. She primarily dealt with the impacts of the proposed structures on individual taxation and social security and health insurance payments, mostly under parallel influence of multiple jurisdictions (i.e. from determining the tax residence under applicable regulations up to the preparation of tax returns). The impact of the new structures on payments by individuals is always one of the crucial aspects of the final decision on the selection of the given structure, which is why it must be given appropriate attention from the very beginning of planned changes. Kateřina was also involved in many tax and accounting audits (due diligence) of legal entities within various acquisitions and transformations with the aim of identifying and quantifying any tax and accounting risks of the given transaction. Last, but not least, she also prepared various tax returns, reports and various tax statements within the Czech tax system. Kateřina has her family as her main hobby, but she also likes Czech films and sports.
